Purchasing Process

Thank you for considering a kitten from Whisker Pines Cattery! We strive to make the adoption process simple and transparent while ensuring every kitten is placed in a loving, lifelong home.

Reserving Your Kitten

A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to reserve your kitten.

The remaining 50% balance is due when your kitten reaches 12 weeks of age, prior to pick up or transportation arrangements

Pricing

Pet (Limited Breeding Rights): $2,500

Full Breeding Rights: $3,500

Going Home

Our kittens are ready to leave for their new homes at 12 weeks of age, allowing them plenty of time to develop with their mother and littermates.

Each kitten goes home with a Kitten Pack, which includes:

A copy of their up-to-date vaccination and health record, selection of toys, and a supply of their current food for the trip home and the first few days of settling into their new home.

Purchase Agreement

Before taking your kitten home, all buyers are required to sign our Whisker Pines Cattery Purchase Agreement. This contract outlines the responsibilities of both the breeder and the buyer and helps ensure the lifelong health, safety, and wellbeing of every kitten we produce.

The agreement covers topics including:

Reservation deposits and payment schedule

Pickup timeline and boarding policy

Return policy and breeder’s first right of refusal if the kitten ever needs to be rehomed

Transportation arrangements

Dispute resolution
